  • This course provides information related to environmental education for the youth out-of-school in Namibia. This course focuses on provide to young people the understanding of issues that the planet Earth is facing today and possible solutions to minimise the effects and correct the mistakes done in the past. This course introduces the education for sustainable development to alert young people that any initiated development should not jeopardise the future of the next generations.

  • This course will give you an overview of the activities of an e-learning tutor.
    You will get detailed information on the role and requirements of a tutor, complemented with practical examples (accessible as flash documents) and reports from a tutor’s actual experience in audio-files.

    We have selected a number of approaches that will help you develop the necessary skills to tutor an e-learning course yourself lateron. The objective right now: making you ready for and curious about this task.

  • This course is designed for out-of-school youth to get skills to cultivate mushroom.

    A mushroom is the fleshy, spore-bearing fruiting body of a fungus, typically produced above ground on soil or on its food source. Like all fungi, mushrooms are not plants and do not undergo photosynthesis. The standard for the name "mushroom" is the cultivated white button mushroom, Agaricus bisporus. "Mushroom" describes a variety of gilled fungi, with or without stems.

  • This course introduces the basics each youth should be able to demonstrate the competencies.

  • This course provides to LSM developers from Seychelles and Mauritius opportunities for online collaboration and discussions towards potentials offered by Information and Communication Technology. In this course, participants will review what they did learn during the EE-ICT course and will emphasise more on community of practices in the area of LSM. The aim of this online course is to allow participants to get a platform where they can share experiences, resources and seek for advice, help, directions, etc. Tutors will show cases of the use of technology to develop materials and to conduct professional development for teachers and other users of their EE-ESD resources.

The youth in Namibia is facing multiple challenges and some of them are quality education and unemployment. This E-learning platform will help the youth out-of-school to get better opportunities to enhance their skills using various form of technologies.

The main objective is to train the out-of-school youth in various sector such as technology, ESD (Education for Sustainable Development), Agriculture (Micro-Gardening), Entrepreneurship, Business Management.
